The Key to a Better Life, Time Management

The Key to a Better Life, Time Management

Time management is basically about being focused. The Pareto Principle also known as the '80:20 Rule' states that 80% of efforts that are not time managed or unfocused generates only 20% of the desired output. However, 80% of the desired output can be generated using only 20% of a well time managed effort. Although the ratio '80:20' is only arbitrary, it is used to put emphasis on how much is lost or how much can be gained with time management.

How does one Become Genuinely Happy?

How does one Become Genuinely Happy?

Life isn’t the sweetest candy. Sometimes, when I feel like the world is just too heavy, I look around and find people who continued to live fascinating and wonderful lives. And then thoughts come popping into my mind like bubbles from nowhere – “How did their life become so adorably sweet? How come they still can manage to laugh and play around despite a busy stressful life?” Then I pause and observed for awhile… I figured out that maybe, they start to work on a place called ‘self’.

So, how does one become genuinely happy? Step 1 is to love yourself.

Un gagnant fait toujours partie de la réponse;
Un perdant fait toujours partie du problème.

Un gagnant a toujours un programme;

Un gagnant a une solution pour chaque problème;

Enjoy Your Life: Change Your Point of View

"Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud, and one sees the stars."- Frederick Langbridge, A Cluster of Quiet Thoughts

If you’ve placed second in a writing contest, will you jump for joy and push for better results the next time or will you be discouraged and find an excuse not to join again?

In life, you are always filled with choices. You may opt to have a pessimist’s view and live a self-defeated life or you may decide to take the optimist’s route and take a challenging and fulfilling life.

Disable comments by default for specific content type

Thu, 03/15/2012 - 00:36 -- Samira

You can disable comments from your content types admin by editing the content type on which you want to disable comments.
Go to admin/content/types, In the Comment settings section, set Default comments setting to Disabled. Save the content type. You are done! But, this will only change new posts, what for the existing posts? You have to change them manually by editing each node. It can be a bind.
We are going to do it via SQL snippets which I've tested on Drupal 7 and should work for Drupal 6 as well (in my case I have a content type 'quotation'):
